Dr. Michael Manoogian has been a member of the faculty at LMU since 1992.  He received his doctorate in Civil Engineering from the University of Southern California.  He primarily teaches structural engineering, structural design and various engineering mechanics as courses. His research interests have been in the areas of earthquake engineering and seismology with several articles and presentations.  He is a licensed civil engineer in California.  Prior to joining LMU, he spent several years in professional practice with expertise in vibrations, acoustics, engineering mechanics and structural design.
